Join us February 28-March 2 on a fabulous trip to New Orleans!
We'll stay in the heart of the French Quarter and explore the historic, musical, artistic, architectural, and gastronomic delights of this one-of-a-kind city! See beautiful architecture and film sites in the beautiful Garden District, stop in at a club for live jazz, taste New Orleans' famous dishes at new hot spots and venerable old dining institutions like Galatoire's, try a Sazerac or Viex Carré cocktail at the Carousel Bar or other famous watering hole (or get a drink to go if you don't want to stop walking!), view Mardi Gras treasures at local museums, or visit the New Orleans Museum of Art, the National WWII Museum, the New Orleans Jazz Museum, or the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum, among others!
There are so many excellent tours and activities to choose from--visit plantations or a swamp if you want to get out of the city, or learn about the city's literary history or contributions to food, music, and art!
We'll have some scheduled dining and activities together so we can spend time with old friends and get to know new friends! But there will also be plenty of time left open to provide flexibility for whatever interests you the most, whether it's taking a cajun cooking class, lining up for beignets and chicory coffee at Cafe du Monde, taking in jazz & blues music, strolling through botanical gardens, or enjoying a haunted city tour by night!
